Wedding Reception Pricing starts at $600

I'm sure you've read alot of different articles by all manner of experts on weddings, planning, relative importance of services you hire, how to, etc... so I'm not going to go into that. YOU already have some idea of what you want that's why you're here now.

So let me cut to the chase and tell you what I can offer you and what expectations I have for those I work with.

First I do more than just play the music on your day. I will help you to plan out the flow and order of events for your reception.

I will help you in finding appropriate songs for special dances and dedications, as well as creating a musicscape for the reception in general.

I can script special introductions for dances, dedications, or for anything else.

Anything else you need let's talk about it.

Now in addition to the time I'll invest in the pre-event planning and the event execution it self, I'll be providing you with appropriate sound equipment with on site back ups in case of failure. For a reception held in a single location all sound equipment is included in the price quoted. No hidden charges or upsells. You will get what is need to get the job done.

Also included in the price I'll quote you includes a trip to see the Venue and meet with the staff or manager to see how things are set up and to work out things to prevent any problems on your day.

I will also make myself available to you to meet at least once in person before your event, as well being available by phone, and by email anytime for your questions and concerns.

One thing that a lot of people don't realize is that before the event starts, music has to be selected and packed as well as the equipment which may also require a minor clean up to look it's best. Everything then needs to be loaded into a van and then myself and my roadie will then drive to the venue in time to allow for traffic and any other contigencies and be set up BEFORE the guests arrive. Then after all the fun and excitement is over, everything needs to be packed up, loaded back into the van transported back to the home base and unloaded.

So remember that I will actually be working MORE than the time it takes for the reception to happen.

Okay, now you have an idea of what you'll get when you hire me. So now let me tell you about the type of client I want to work with.

First, I'm not the type of guy who's into trying to impress for the sake of making a statement.

So, if you are the type of person who is into "show" and are more worried about chair covers, ice sculptures, floral arrangements, custom poured chocolate something or others with your name, and you have given little thought as to how this occasion can be a celebration that includes everyone, I may not be the DJ for you.

I prefer to work with those who could really care less about "show" but are more concerned about the "substance" of their day. If you are more about just getting family, relatives and freinds together under one roof with the idea of sharing food, drink and a good time in celebration of your marriage than anything else, then YOU are the type of person I wish to work with. My expections from you would be; timely, open and honest communication, respect for me and the work I do along with a realistic compensation for my time and services.
